This call for tenders aims to speed up the development of next generation influenza vaccines. The call will be implemented via a competitive development in phases as foreseen under Pre-Commercial Procurement.

This call for tenders aims to speed up the development of a point-of-care diagnostic medical device that can provide antimicrobial susceptibility results on the bacteria or fungi causing an infection in humans, within one hour or less from subject sample collection, and ideally, to also allow for pathogen identification. By the end of the contract, the product developed should aim at reaching system complete and qualified (TRL 8). 

HI call 9 will be a single-stage, applicant driven call with five topics aligned with the five specific objectives set out in the IHI Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). IHI call 10 will be a standard, two-stage call for proposals with the following topics:

The cooperation on lung cancer is expected to generate new data and findings on lung cancer screening and mortality, and to provide guidance to Member States that are rolling out or planning to implement lung cancer screening programmes.

Under the EU-USA collaboration on cancer, two technical working groups have been established,

• one focusing on paediatric cancer and
• the other on lung cancer

The EP PerMed Fast Track Validation Programme is open to start-ups and small teams, seeking to incorporate into a start-up, who are looking to advance their PM innovations through rigorous validation studies. The programme targets solutions that are at least at the proof-of-concept stage (TRL3).
