Joint Transnational Call 2026 for the BE READY Partnership: Advancing knowledge of host and pathogens dynamics to better combat emerging diseases

The aim of this call is to increase scientific understanding and evidence-based knowledge on emerging and re-emerging pathogens with pandemic potential as well as on the host responses triggered by infection in order to improve our capacity to anticipate, prevent and respond to infectious health threats through a multinational, collaborative and interdisciplinary approach that bridges research and development. The scope of the call is primarily addressing Priority 1 of the SRIA (Accelerate knowledge in a coordinated and integrative manner), focusing on the proposed Action 1.1 (Increase knowledge on understanding, identifying and addressing therapeutic targets on pathogens) and Action 1.2 (Increase knowledge on pathophysiology).

EP PerMed launches its first Call for Tender on Surveys and invites suitable stakeholders to apply. The topic of the tender is the assessment and analysis of genetic testing related to personalised medicine approaches for different countries and health systems.

By launching call for tenders EP PerMed aims to:

  • Understand the processes of personalised medicine implementation and identify good practise of personalised medicine in healthcare.
  • Understand how to best engage the crucial players of the healthcare systems and research to support EP PerMed objectives
  • Generate knowledge to support EP PerMed activities.
  • Develop recommendations to support personalised medicine implementation.

ERDERA Call 2026 “Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and non-genetic diseases through variant validation and new technological approaches”

The goal of this call is to solve Undiagnosed Rare Genetic diseases and to address complex, multifactorial Rare Non-Genetic diseases by identifying causative variants in patients with no molecular diagnosis after prior genetic or genomic testing and providing diagnostic clarity for conditions of unknown or mixed pathogenesis.

EP PerMed call 2026 "Personalised medicine for cardiovascular, metabolic, and kidney diseases"

With this JTC, EP PerMed will fund research projects in human health on innovative PM strategies for patients with cardiovascular, metabolic or kidney diseases. Research projects may focus on a single disease or explore these conditions in combination. 

This is a 2-stage call. The 10th February 2026 is deadline for 1st stage proposals.
