NCP Projects and other advisory networks

The NCP Portal offers both NCPs and participants access to the vast knowledge, support tools and services that NCP networks develop to support the wide participation in Horizon Europe.

The Joint Action on increasing the capacity of National Focal Points (NFPs) – NFP4Health, funded under the European Public Health Programme, aims to enforce the network of National Focal Points and create sustainable actions to promote the achievement of the health objectives for the period 2021-2027.

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions.

NCP_WIDERA.NET supports the capacity and effectiveness of the WIDERA National Contact Points in low performing Member States (MS) and Associated Countries (AC) and fills knowledge gaps to improve access to funding opportunities under the Framework Programmes.

Net4SocietyHE (N4SHE) is the transnational network for Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society" (CL2) National Contact Points (NCPs) in Horizon Europe.

IDEAL-IST is the international Horizon Europe Cluster 4 digital National Contact Point (NCP) network, supporting research and innovation activities for the EU Framework Programmes.

The overall aim of the RICH Europe project is to improve and support the professionalisation and harmonisation of Research Infrastructures National Contact Points (NCPs) services across Europe and to contribute to the consolidation of the European research infrastructure ecosystem.

NCP4Missions is a networking project of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the five EU Missions, representing 19 Member States or Associated Countries (MS/AC).

CARE4BIO is a networking project of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Cluster 6 "Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment" in Horizon Europe.

Health Projects and Initiatives

The ERA4Health Partnership (Fostering a European Research Area for Health Research) brings the opportunity to increase European transnational collaborative research funding by creating a funding body for joint programming in priority areas addressing European public health needs.

The Coordination and Support Action (CSA) BrainHealth is preparing a European Partnership for Brain Health to structure research and innovation in this area. The ultimate goal is to preserve and promote brain health in society and to enhance the well-being of people with neurological and mental health conditions in Europe and worldwide.

The project BE READY aims on laying the preparatory groundwork for the foundation of the future European partnership for pandemic preparedness, which includes the preparation of an innovative and visionary Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for Pandemic Preparedness. 

The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) exists to accelerate the clinical development of new or improved health technologies for the identification, treatment and prevention of poverty-related and neglected infectious diseases, including (re-)emerging diseases.

The Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project is enabling access to genomic and related phenotypic and clinical data across Europe. It is doing this by establishing a federated, sustainable and secure infrastructure to access the data. It builds on the outputs of the Beyond 1 Million Genomes (B1MG) project and is realising the ambition of the 1+Million Genomes (1+MG) initiative.

Innovative Health Initiative is a Partnership for health research and innovation between the EU and Europe’s life science industries with the core goals to translate health research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society, and ensure that Europe remains at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary, sustainable, patient-centric health research.

Partnership for the Assessment of Risk from Chemicals (PARC) is a public-public partnership working for the benefit of human health and the environment by developing better chemical risk assessment and supporting the implementation of research and innovation for societal benefit.
