The cooperation on lung cancer is expected to generate new data and findings on lung cancer screening and mortality, and to provide guidance to Member States that are rolling out or planning to implement lung cancer screening programmes.

Under the EU-USA collaboration on cancer, two technical working groups have been established,

• one focusing on paediatric cancer and
• the other on lung cancer

This action will support the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan by seeking synergies between the USA Cancer Moonshot Initiative, and Europe's Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Cancer Mission

The EP PerMed Fast Track Validation Programme is open to start-ups and small teams, seeking to incorporate into a start-up, who are looking to advance their PM innovations through rigorous validation studies. The programme targets solutions that are at least at the proof-of-concept stage (TRL3).

The EP PerMed Venture Creation Programme will provide guidance by experienced mentors, ensuring that each project is mentored on its journey. Call for Proposals for Multinational and Translational Research Projects on "Interdisciplinary approaches to the neuroscience of pain"

PND launches this joint transnational call for with the aim of improving the well-being of people with neurodegenerative diseases through social sciences and humanities research.

The objective of this action is to set up and operate a support centre to advance the adoption of the European electronic health record exchange Format (EEHRxF) and key aspects such as the interoperability and security of EHR systems towards the implementation of the European health data space (EHDS). The support centre will provide services to implementers intending to ensure compatibility of their systems with the EHDS requirements.

Pre-proposal

The call concerns on research projects in human health on pharmacogenomic strategies for personalised medicine approaches that address :

• identification of new pharmacogenomic markers or signatures using (multi)-omics data in relation to drug or drug combination.
• validation of a pharmacogenomic marker or signatures using (multi)-omics data in predicting drug or drug combination outcomes.
• use pharmaco-omics strategies to determine the right dosage, the efficacy of treatments and/or the risk of adverse drug response and non-response to treatment to tailor personalised treatment pathways, including combined treatments (multi-medication).

Research projects in all disease areas will be welcome.

Joint Transnational Call 2025: “Pre-clinical therapy studies for rare diseases using small molecules and biologicals – development and validation”

Research studies on therapies using small molecules, small non-coding chemically synthesized nucleic acid-based therapies, repurposed drugs or biologicals (e.g., antibodies or proteins such as enzymes, immune modulators or growth factors etc.).

THCS will launch its third Joint Transnational Call for proposals aiming to fund research and innovation projects that strengthen primary and community health and care systems and provide policy and decision makers with the necessary knowledge and tools to govern the transitions needed in the primary and community care sector.
