The call concerns on research projects in human health on pharmacogenomic strategies for personalised medicine approaches that address :

• identification of new pharmacogenomic markers or signatures using (multi)-omics data in relation to drug or drug combination.
• validation of a pharmacogenomic marker or signatures using (multi)-omics data in predicting drug or drug combination outcomes.
• use pharmaco-omics strategies to determine the right dosage, the efficacy of treatments and/or the risk of adverse drug response and non-response to treatment to tailor personalised treatment pathways, including combined treatments (multi-medication).

Research projects in all disease areas will be welcome.

Joint Transnational Call 2025: “Pre-clinical therapy studies for rare diseases using small molecules and biologicals – development and validation”

Research studies on therapies using small molecules, small non-coding chemically synthesized nucleic acid-based therapies, repurposed drugs or biologicals (e.g., antibodies or proteins such as enzymes, immune modulators or growth factors etc.).

Preproposals

THCS will launch its third Joint Transnational Call for proposals aiming to fund research and innovation projects that strengthen primary and community health and care systems and provide policy and decision makers with the necessary knowledge and tools to govern the transitions needed in the primary and community care sector.

Pre-proposal

The aims of the call are: 

• to support randomised, interventional and pragmatic comparative-effectiveness multi-country Investigator-Initiated Clinical Studies (IICS).
• to encourage and enable transnational collaboration between clinical/public health research teams (from hospital/ public health, healthcare settings and other healthcare organisations) that conduct comparative-effectiveness multi-country IICS.

• DP/CR-g-24-29: Call for proposals on health promotion and prevention of non-communicable and communicable diseases, including vaccine-preventable and other cancers caused by infections, and on smoke- and aerosol-free environments
• DP-g-24-25: Call for proposals to support a comprehensive, prevention-oriented approach to mental health in the Union

• CR-g-24-42: Call for proposals on radiation safety and quality of computed tomography imaging of children and young adults
• CR-g-24-96: Call for proposals to support the establishment of new networks of expertise on cancer and cancer conditions

With the agreement on the Regulation on the European Health Data Space, this call provides “Support to key stakeholders and HealthData@EU participants in scope of the proposed European Health Data Space (EHDS)” to provide, process, and reuse health data. It will also promote continuous engagement with key stakeholders and the setup and running of various secondary use governance bodies.

Call for this tender will open on 21. January 2025

The aim of this call for tenders is to purchase horizon scanning in the area of medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices in order to maintain an up-to-date overview of new and emerging technologies. The contractor will have to screen available sources for identification of novel, emerging technologies, and assess features that may have an impact on medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices, present opportunities, risks or other features related to new and emerging technologies. The need for this horizon scanning has been identified in the context of the implementation of the MDR/IVDR legislation in order to support competitiveness and innovation in the EU market, while ensuring a high level of protection of health for patients and users.

Your research project

• Can vary from basic discovery science to translational science and translation into personalised oncology.
