Pre-proposal

To take action against the growing global threat of increased spread of antimicrobial (antibacterial and antifungal) resistance, this call will fund international collaborative research projects aiming to improve, compare and evaluate the effectiveness, cost effectiveness, and uptake of existing interventions against bacterial or fungal infections and/or to design new interventions against fungal infections.

The JTC2024 will aim to fund research that fosters the identification or validation of targets for personalised medicine approaches. Applicants submitting a proposal to this call must combine the research on new and advanced targets with companion biomarker research (companion diagnostics). The aim of the call is to support transnational research projects that focus on the improvement of cognitive brain ageing through nutrition and other lifestyle factors. Thereby it enables scientists from different countries to build a valuable collaboration on interdisciplinary research projects based on complementarities and sharing of expertise in the field of brain ageing, its related disorders, nutrition and lifestyle factors.
