SC1 NCPs & EEN SG Healthcare joint workshop (Brussels, BE)

Meet – Exchange – Build: Maximize impact through collaboration

Workshop Agenda

Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 1 National Contact Points (NCPs) met Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Healthcare Sector group members last 15 September for the first time at a joint workshop in Brussels.
This event brought 22 NCPs and EEN advisors together from various countries. It helped both networks to gain better understanding of NCPs and EEN roles and services, with the help of exhaustive presentations from European Commission staff interacting with these networks. HNN 2.0 Project Officer Yolande Vermeersch and EEN SG Healthcare Project Officer Gunnar Matthiesen joined the event, together with Bernd Reichert (state of play of SME instrument), Eric Koch (current and future NCP-EEN MoUs), Philippe Cuppers and Ardian Xerxia (DG RTD/EASME – FTI Pilot and InnovFin Infectious diseases product).

Participants exchanged views on how to better cooperate on several issues commonly faced by both networks (facilitating partner searches, organizing brokerage events, information sharing…), as well as on SME instrument where NCPs and EEN advisors have key role in supporting applicants / beneficiaries. Several presentations of experiences from Portugal on the SME Instrument (Joao Mil-Homens, NCP SME) and from Baden-Württemberg in Germany on coaching (Hicham Abgay, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum, EEN Healthcare SG member) allowed participants to get deeper insight into SME instrument and practices to share.
Two experiences of joint NCP-EEN activities has been also been shared with participants: Isabelle Pottier (CCI Paris-Ile-de-France, EEN Healthcare SG Vice-Chair) presented joint brokerage event experience in Paris and Juan Carmona Schneider (EEN Healthcare SG Chair) presented another joint brokerage event initiative at MEDICA fair in Düsseldorf.

This workshop helped to find complementarities and opportunities for collaboration between SC1 NCPs and EEN Healthcare Sector group in view of organizing other joint activities in the future.

Please note that this webinar was for Health NCPs and EEN only. If you are Health NCP, please login or create an account to download the presentations of the workshop.
